Scottsdale Window Cleaning Facts
How often do people get their windows cleaned?
Most of our customers get their windows cleaned 3 or 4 times a year. We do have customers who have us clean their glass once a month, and others who have us come but once a year.
Why do I need to hire a window cleaner?
Regular professional cleaning saves your windows from becoming stained with hard water. Arizona’s water is the worst culprit for staining glass. Once the damage is done, it cannot be fixed. The only option is to replace the window.
When you come to clean windows, will that include screens, tracks and sills?
Our service does include hand washing screens as well as wiping the exposed tracks and sills leaving a pristine overall look.
How much does it cost?
Every home in the Phoenix AZ area is different. We charge by the pane and then other factors are included. Do you have skylights? Are your windows dirty from pollution and weather? Do they have paint and dust on them from previous work? Do you have trees growing up right along the side of the home? These and other factors are taken into account when we bid a firm price for you.
Do I really need the inside of my windows cleaned?
Typically, yes. We like to do both inside and outside the first time we clean windows as the client then gets the full effect of perfect looking, professional window cleaning. If one doesn’t smoke in the house, have toddlers or many pets, we can rotate and do in and out, and then just the outside every other visit which is more economical. Usually most the dirt is on the outside, but interior windows can get quite soiled (especially in the kitchen). One advantage to having both sides cleaned is that from then on it is very easy to take a lint-free rag and polish the fingerprints off the inside. Phoenix Window Cleaning does not recommend the use of any type of commercial product that comes in a sprayer.
